Ramadan Announcements!

ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

We wish you all a blessed upcoming Ramadan 1445 AlHijri!

As ICCL prepares for this blessed month here are some Ramadan related announcements:

Please read it carefully:

1. You may have noticed that there is construction happening as ICCL tries to expand the current space to accommodate for more people this year.
2. Taraweeh prayers start on Sunday 3/10/2024 right after Isha Salat
3. Community Iftar will be on Fridays
- If you would like to have the blessing of contributing to this year’s community Iftar, please put your name on the Iftar sign up sheet with your phone number written out clearly, and we shall call you. إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ‎ This sheet will be posted in the hallway. The last day for sign up will be 3/8/2024
- Every year we ask for volunteers and we get great volunteers! You could be one of them this year. The areas to volunteer are Setup, Clean up and Servers. The volunteer sign up sheet will also be posted in the hallway
4. Eid Al Fitr will be on 4/10/2024 the venue will be announced in a future email bulletin
5. Fitrah is the mandatory act of charity during Ramadan
- please pay it early so we can distribute it early
- the amount is $12 per person
- you can drop it in the Fitrah box or pay at the kiosk
6. Fidyah ( الفدية) and Kaffara ( كفارة) are donations made when a fast is missed or broken can be made
- the amount is $12
- you can drop it in the Fitrah box or pay at the kiosk
