In light of the shooting incident at the Islamic Center of San Diego

Dear Community Members,

Assalam alaikum,

In light of the shooting incident at the Islamic Center of San Diego which led to the martyrdom of Amin Abdullah (security guard), Nader Awad (community member) and Mansour Kaziha (Abul Iz) (staff member), we want to reassure our community that the safety and security of our members remains a top priority.

We are taking all needed precautions and encourage everyone to remain vigilant, aware of the surroundings, and report any suspicious activity immediately. People are advised to call 911 to report any suspicious activity. The safety of our Masjid is a shared responsibility.

We need to work together as a community to support one and another and help protect our
brothers and sisters. May Allah protect our community and fellow community from any harm.
