Inna Lillahe Wa-Inna Ileyhey Rajeoon - Sr Rashida Begum passed away in NJ

Assalamu-Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullah Wa-Barakatu,

Sorry to share the sad news that Sister Rashida Begum alias Surayya wife of Deccani Urdu poet Sulaiman Khateeb, passed away in New Jersey on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. She was also maternal aunty of Br. Mukaram Syed.

May Allah (SWT) grant Jannatul-Firdouse and give his family patience and strength to bear this great loss. Ameen.

We pray that He raise the deceased amongst those who are righteous, those who are patient, those who are truthful, and those who believe. We pray that He grant the deceased shade on that day when there is no shade but that of His throne. We pray that He grant the deceased entrance into Jannah without any judgement, and may the deceased dwell therein in the company of all those whom loves and the company of His most beloved, Salallahu 'Alayhi Was'salaam. We pray that He guide and bless us all. Ameen. Ameen ya rabbal 'aalameen.
