Mohammed Dawood, 54, of Lititz passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026. Born in Masaka, Uganda he was the son of Kulsum Bai Dawood and the late Abdul Raheman Dawood. He was the husband of Shama (Virmani) Dawood.
He helped run Greco's Italian Ices & Homemade Ice Cream in Lancaster County for several years with his family.
In addition to his wife Shama, he is survived by his children:
Zainul Dawood, Hamzah Dawood, fiancé of Tinishia Federer, Azra Dawood all of Lititz. Also surviving are two sisters, Shaheen Dawood and Rubina Dawood-Younas, both of London, England.
Muslim Services will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110

Ghusal will be at 9am. Arrivals for funeral home will be at 11am and then Namaz will begin around 1-1:30 and then everyone will head to Fairview promptly inshallah for the burial

Ghusal (Body washing) at 9 AM
Janaaza Prayer at 1 PM
Then leave to cemetery at Manheim Fairview Cemetery (98 W Sun Hill Rd, Manheim, PA 17545)
Please remember there is a big reward for attending Janaaza prayer and one for also attending the burial
On this solemn occasion, we offer our deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to the family. May Allah (SWT) grant the entire family mercy (Rahmah), patience (Sabr), and comfort during this difficult and trying time. "To Allah we belong and to Him is our return. To Allah belongs what He takes and what He gives, and with Him everything has an appointed term, so let us have patience and seek reward from Him, Ameen."
