Verily, to Allah we belong and to Him is our return

Asslam alaikum,

Our sister Leila Ben-Nasr passed away on Friday November 28, 2025. Dr. Leila Ben-Nasr was the kindest soul, always willing to help others and bring comfort to those around her. Her generosity and compassion touch countless students over the last 25 years of teaching, leaving an enduring mark on their lives and ours. Please join our family for prayer at the Snyder Funeral Home Sunday November 30, 2025 at 10:30 AM prayer to start at 11:00 AM. 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543

Sr. Leila is survived by her two loving parents Mouna and Habib Ben-Nasr, her sister Nadia Ben-Nasr and her two brothers Ramsey and Sammy Ben-Nasr. We ask all community members to offer a special Du'a.

The Janazah Salah will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home (3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543), followed by burial at Manheim Fairview Cemetery (98 W Sun Hill Rd, Manheim, PA 17545).

On this solemn occasion, we offer our deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to the family. May Allah (SWT) grant the entire family mercy (Rahmah), patience (Sabr), and comfort during this difficult and trying time. We also pray for the departing soul and ask Allah (SWT) to expand and enlighten the grave with His Noor (Light) and grant the highest place in Jannatul-Firdous (paradise), Ameen.

We remind ourselves, the surviving family members, and friends of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and reflect upon the words of condolence and prayer that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used on such occasions:

"Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. Inna lillahi ma akhadh wa lahu ma a'ta. Wa kullu shay'in indahu bi ajalin musamma faltasbir waltahtasib."

"To Allah we belong and to Him is our return. To Allah belongs what He takes and what He gives, and with Him everything has an appointed term, so let us have patience and seek reward from Him, Ameen."
