Charity Night at ICCL - "Lailatul Qadr"

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Assalaamu Alaikum.

We are in the last 10 nights of Ramadan, the most blessed nights when any form of ‘Ibadat’ and good deeds that we perform have many fold rewards; especially on ‘Laylatul Qadr’ when the rewards, as Allah, the Almighty mentions in Surah al-Qadr, are multiplied and increased to more than a 1000 months.

ICCL will be hosting a Charity Night Event on the 27th night of the month of Ramadan, which will be on Wednesday evening, April 27th. This is one of the odd nights and based on the Hadith of the Prophet (PBUH), could be the Lailatul Qadr. You are invited to participate with friends and family in this Community event, a fundraiser program will be conducted Live from 9:20 PM followed by Isha and Tarawih at the ICCL.

Many religious activities are held at the Islamic center, including regular Salat and Jummah prayers, Weekend Islamic School Education, special events during Ramadan and other Religious occasions, and numerous Dawa’ programs in Lancaster County and Central Pennsylvania. ICCL is also raising money to purchase a new building for the center activities and your support is needed to continue to provide the various Islamic services to the Muslims of Lancaster County.

Your donations to the ICCL can be given for the center’s operating expenses, for your annual Zakat or for the New Masjid fund. ICCL is a Non-profit organization with the 501(c)(3) status and your donations to ICCL are Tax-deductible and Zakat-eligible.

Dua for Laylatul Qadr:

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: “O Messenger of Allah, what do you think I should say in my supplication, if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr?”
He said: “Say: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni”
“O Allah, you are forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me”. (At-Tirmidhi)
